Putting the Chic Into Cheap

Cheap doesn't have to mean low quality.

Cheap is definitely the buzz word of the moment.....in fact, this is the Year of the Bargain. Everybody, it seems, is looking for the best deal for their money. But at what price?

Buyers beware.

There are lots of companies offering cheap, low quality products and services. It's unfortunate that many of the products and services these companies offer, tend not to live up to their initial promise which ultimaltely, undermines the whole essence of a bargain - value for money.

It's fair to say that if something seems to good too be true, it invariably is just that - too good to be true.

Cheap or Value For Money?

You could say Panelwarehouse.com products are cheap when compared to our competitors but that doesn't mean quality has suffered or the service is lacking in any way. We'd rather term our products as being value for money rather than cheap. In fact our customers, regularly tell us what they mean by value for money and what they expect from the products they buy:

  • Competitive prices - We review our costs and suppliers on a regular basis to keep us competitive. We consider ourselves to offer the best value for money in the industry.

  • A variety of product - We provide a wide range of products that reflect our customers tastes and pockets.

  • Individuality - Not everybody wants the same colour, the same fabric or the same size. We offer over 23 different colours, 3 different fabrics and a huge range of sizes depending on the product. What’s more if you can’t find the size you are looking for we will make it for you.

  • First Class Service - We pride ourselves on the service we offer. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will listen to you to make sure we meet your needs wherever possible.

  • Regular Offers and Incentives - Panelwarehouse.com for example offers:
    • Free cases for all Display Stands

    • Regular special offers such as Buy 1 Get 1 Free Office Screens & Room Dividers

    • Free accessories such As velcro & spotlights on selected products.

    Buy with confidence.

All in all, what we're trying to say, is that not everything that appear cheap has the same value for money that Panelwarehouse.com products offer. As a consumer, you need to be on the ball in this current climate because there are so-called deals and bargains everywhere we turn and you could end up spending more money in the long run.

It's better to buy cheap with confidence than to buy cheap and buy twice.

    Local MP visits Panelwarehouse.com

On the 5th of February 2009, Ian Stewart, Labour MP for Eccles, visited the home of Panelwarehouse.com.

Mr Stewart was treated to a tour of our operations, a brief introduction to the staff of Panelwarehouse.com and a morning with our Management Team.

He offered genuine interest in our company and later offered a statement which read:

"I was pleased to visit the Panelwarehouse factory in February 2009. It was good to see an effeciently run company employing local labour, which can meet customer demands promptly and at affordable prices. I was impressed by this company."

Well there you go, high praise indeed. May be we can get Gordon in next month, we're sure he'll be just as impressed!

We'd like to say thanks to Mr Stewart for coming down to see us and sending us his positive sentiments.

    The Stores who cry SALE

It's a tough world out there right now for businesses and many will go to extreme lengths to grab a consumers attention. So I ask this question.....

When is a SALE not a SALE?

Not long ago, I was in a well known department store and saw a CD I was looking for which was in the Sale section. Fantastic I thought, I've been looking for that for ages and it's only £6.99 (one of those albums that you always wanted but forgot you actually wanted it until the day you see it with a huge SALE sticker on the front!).

It was only until I picked it up that I realised that the stated Recommended Retail Price (RRP) was £28.99!!!

I remember the days of VHS films being 70 quid but a single CD for nigh on 30?? Even pre-credit crunch when your average terraced had risen to the cost of a small Scottish Castle with Swimming pool and Tennis court, CDs were never that much......

On the other hand there are those SALEs where you see stock that never should have seen the light of day in the first place. Such as Clothes you would refuse to wear even if you had forgotten your gym kit during PE at school and were offered them from the emergency kit cupboard!

So I ask again, when is a SALE not a SALE?

Our SALE at Panelwarehouse.com is exactly what it says on the tin - A SALE. No inflated RRPs or old hat stock...honest, quality, first class products at SALE prices - that's it.
So if your looking for a Display Stand Bargain, a Cheap Noticeboard or a Saving off an Office Screen, head over to our SALE page now......

Meanwhile, I'm off to try on my new Woollen Shell Suit and listen to my £30 Whale music CD!!

    Panelwarehouse? ....who are they?

This is our first blog, so go easy with us!

What is Panelwarehouse.com I hear you ask?

Panelwarehouse.com is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of quality and low cost Display Stands, Office Screens, Room Dividers and Partitions. I know it sounds like a cliché but we are truly different in our approach compared to other companies in the same field....

We hold our customers in the highest regard and treat them how we'd like to be treated ourselves - with respect, care and attention. We believe our service levels are second to none and challenge anyone to put us to the test...

    So why the blog?

As above says, we're different from the rest and want to break the mould where display equipment is concerned and reach out to our customers in informative and engaging ways.

What can I expect from these blogs?

All sorts really.....product info, heads up on offers, latest news from inside the Panelwarehouse, user guides, product choice help, advice and other social commentaries that we think you'll find interesting.

Well that's it...our first blog of the year.....until next time, take care.
